Mancala rules, made clear
Go Mancala uses the Turkish Mangala rules implemented by the game engine. A match begins with four stones in each of twelve pits.
Sow the stones
Choose one of your non-empty pits. If it holds more than one stone, leave one behind and distribute the rest anticlockwise, one at a time. A single stone moves directly to the next pit.
Earn another turn
If your final stone lands in your own store, you play again. Use extra turns to build combinations and control the board.
Capture
If your final stone makes an opponent pit even, those stones move to your store. If it lands in one of your empty pits, you capture the stones in the directly opposite pit too.
Finish the game
When one player empties all six pits on their side, that player collects the opponent’s remaining stones. The player with the most stones wins; equal stores produce a draw.
Moves are checked by the server
Turn order, legal pits, sowing, captures and results are resolved by the authoritative game room—not trusted to either player’s browser.
